BYU vs Tulane: New Orleans and the Sants!!

We went to another BYU game, this time in Louisiana at the Superdome. It was a different experience going there. Even though it's only a few hours away, Louisiana is so different from Texas. For starters, New Orleans is below sea level and there is water all around the cities. The highways are built up on pillars but the water wasn't that far below so it seems like if it rained too much or something the roads could all flood over. I also saw the Mississippi River for the first time. We drove down Bourbon street as well and I don't want to talk about it! It was nasty there.
It's a little hard to see but here is Kenny, Jon, Jennifer and Grandma Waite's head on ESPN!!
I was standing right next to Kenny but of course the camera cut me off

We saw the Sants at the game!!! It was amazing. I wish I had gotten a picture of Larry and Tiffany also. But we're hoping it's not the last time we see them in Louisiana.

Dale, Kenny, Shelby, Gina, and Grandma Waite at the BYU tailgate party. It was at the tiniest church building I've ever seen. I thought it was a little house until I saw the steeple.

Kenny and sister Shelby

It was a really fun trip!!

WE WERE SO EXCITED TO SEE YOU!

It was a sah-weet BYU win, but it was even more sweet to see you!

You reminded us that it is the south that is nuts, not us.

LOVE YOU! Congratulations on one year of wedded bliss.
